Midian's TRC-200 allows a dispatcher or operator to control a remote base station or repeater using the standard EIA tone format over a dedicated phone line, microwave path or telemetry link. It also employs an intercom feature to allow the dispatcher to talk to other parallel tone remotes on the same system. With the built-in keypad the operator can select up to 17 functions/frequencies. The 5-tone functions enable the dispatcher to view the 5-tone ANI and Emergency ANI of field units and to perform selective calling functions. Midian's TRC-200 is an ideal substitute for Motorola's Centro Plus.
