Two-line Full-featured Desktop Control Console
Telex's IP-2002 is a 2-line, full-featured desktop control console for use with conventional radio systems. All processing and control capabilities are self-contained within the unit, so no CEB or additional CPU equipment is required.
A host of new features have now been added to the IP-2002 to include caller ID capabilities, iDEN support (for the NI-223), autodial and NEO-10 support. In addition to these great features IP-2002 delivers radio telephony operation, allowing the local console to change channel of the remote radio via POTS line, giving operators the ability to designate certain lines to automatically failover to a standard POTS line if the IP connection fails.
Another great benefit of the IP-2002 console is its flexibility to connect to any internal Ethernet network, allowing for an unlimited number of unit consoles to have full control and functionality over the system. Dispatchers using the IP-2002 can control a crosspatch between the two lines as well as inject audio into the crosspatch.
