Built to IP54 protection means that not only does the radio have a limited Ingress protection against dust, it is also safeguarded against splashes of water from all angles. Being built to military specification (MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G) means that the TK-7189E MPT is fit for a variety of differing weather conditions, continuing to operate seamlessly from -30°C through to 60°C. Other features that the radio holds include enhanced Kenwood audio, this helping to provide crisp and clear audio for better communications.
