Built to IP54 standards the radio has a limited Ingres protection against dust, whilst also being safeguarded against splashes of water from all angles. A 16-channel capacity allows for sufficient communications between a small to medium sized team, broadcasting between the frequency range of 136-174MHz, voice annunciation will broadcast the channel ID informing the user without them having to take their eyes off of the road should it be used within a vehicle.

9 Programmable function keys allow for the customization of the TK-8302, meaning that important functions can be accessed at the single press of a button. Lone Worker is a safety function that is present that monitors activity levels of the radio, whereby should the radio become inactive for a pre-set period of time an alarm will be raised to a base station of other radios within the fleet. Key lock allows for all functions of the radio to be locked by either the operator or automatically, this will ensure that accidently operation doesn’t occur whilst using the TK-8302.

The TK-8302 is supplied as standard with a D.C. Cable, 10Amp Fuse, Mounting Bracket and Screw Set. In order to transmit with the radio an optional microphone is required.
