TK -2000E/3000E radios are thin and lightweight but rugged and reliable in testing conditions. Built to IP54 protection rating the TK-2000E/3000E have a limited Ingres protection against dust whilst also being safeguarded against splashes of water meaning that  they can be used outdoors when raining. The radios stand at 113mm in height, 54mm in width and 24.9mm in depth when the standard KNB-63L battery is attached. This battery has a 1130mAh capacity meaning that it is more than possible for it to last a full working day.

Operating between the frequencies of 144 to 174MHz, the radios have 16 channels which is more than sufficient to support a small to medium sized business. Channel scanning is a possibility, that when the programmed channel is selected, will quickly scan through all channels to check for ongoing transmissions so no messages are missed. An emergency button can also be programmed into the TK-2000E/3000E to ensure worker safety; this allows for a user to quickly alert other members of their team should there be a working or security issue.
