With new software (R9.0): As a result of legal patent litigations, the TDMA direct mode was removed for digital operation. With the Hytera patented Pseudo Trunking two parallel calls in direct mode are still possible.
The handheld radio PD685 is the ideal companion for the move to digital radio. As a member of Hytera's PD6 series, the PD685 offers a lightweight metal housing and supports both digital and analog radio. Thanks to its full keypad, three programmable keys and its bright LCD display, the PD685 can be operated easily and without complications.
Features
Small, lightweight and narrow
The radios of the PD6 series are only 27 mm deep, making them particularly compact. The housings are trimmed in a high-quality aluminum frame and are comfortable to carry for long periods with a weight of only 310 g (PD685).
Long battery service life
With the supplied 1500 mAh lithium-ion battery, the handheld radio PD685 has an operating period of at least 16 hours in digital mode. With the optionally available 2000-mAh battery, it will even be 20 hours.
Expanded frequency range
The frequency range in UHF stretches from 400 MHz to 527 MHz.
Versatile
The PD685 possess both an analog mode and a digital mode and is compatible with analog radio systems; as a consequence it is very easy for you to change to the digital age. Along with conventional DMR (DMR Tier II, the PD685 also support DMR trunked radio. In addition, it can be used in Hytera XPT and simulcast systems.
- Every radio of the PD6 series is also available with GPS. Variants with GPS support GIS applications, such as AVL and telemetry.
